Abstract Guidelines

The abstract must address a scientific question, a clinical observation or a
primary scientific data that has not been published before in any conference.
An individual may submit more than one abstract and may appear as a co-author on other abstracts.
The primary author must have the consent
of all co-authors listed on the abstract prior to submission.
The presenter is required to fill out the abstract form that can be downloaded
from the website.
English is the official language of the 9th ISDC: Virtual Edition and all documents and presentations must be completed in English.
Correct, scientific English is of utmost importance. Please check spelling and grammar prior to submission.
All presenters are required to register for
the conference at the applicable fees and submit their registration proof along
with the abstract form.
Presenters must specify the category
they wish to enroll in
(Poster Presentation or Oral Presentation)
An abstract cannot be amended after submission.
All documents must be emailed to scientific@usdsa.net by the
20th of February 2021.

Selection Criteria

Scientific Merit

Presentations will be selected for the program based on the scientific quality, clinical excellence of the work, practical relevance in providing solutions to current issues, and suitability for inclusion in the program, as judged from the submission.

Expertise

An international elite scientific body will evaluate the content of each abstract. Selection of the presentations to be presented will be made by this panel.

Quality

Each abstract is reviewed so that high standards can be ensured therefore, it is important that the content be scientifically sound and grammatically correct.
